Chatham Fire Department response to Hurricane Helene

At 10 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, the Chatham County Fire Department braced for what would be a demanding night. Over the next 26 hours, the department would respond to 180 calls for service, each representing a unique challenge and a call for help from the community.
