Chatham County Fire Recognizes Two Members for Professional Credentialing Milestone

Chatham County Fire Department Training Chief Joshua Anderson and Communications Manager Robert Catanese have joined Fire Chief James Vickers and District Chief Michael Mason in attaining their Commission on Professional Credentialing Designation.

Chief Anderson has achieved his Chief Training Officer Designation while Robert Catanese has received the Public Information Officer designation.

In august 2025, the Commission on Professional Credentialing (CPC) reached an incredible achievement, 4,006 credentialed professionals worldwide, the highest number ever awarded.

This milestone is not just about numbers, it represents over 4,000 individual journeys of dedication, growth, and service excellence. Each designation reflects countless hours of study, training, and self-improvement, proving the fire service’s ongoing commitment to better serving our communities.
