Captain Andrew Ulmer appointed as Technical Rescue Team Coordinator for the Chatham County Fire Department

On December 21, 2024, Captain Andrew Ulmer was been appointed as the Technical Rescue Team Coordinator for the Chatham County Fire Department.

In his new role, Captain Ulmer will lead the Technical Rescue Team, ensuring the department maintains the highest standards of operational readiness for complex rescue incidents. His responsibilities will include overseeing training programs, managing the maintenance and readiness of technical rescue equipment, procedure development, and collaborating with other agencies to enhance inter- agency coordination.
